Hello Charlotte Chorale friends and family! I hope this newsletter finds you well and enjoying the wonderful spring we are having.
We are, of course, on break for the summer, following a very successful 2025-26 concert season. We are so blessed to have very appreciative audiences for all of this past season's concerts, and we are so proud to present homage to the 250th anniversary of The United States of America. So much beautiful music from which to choose - I think we all enjoyed the selections we prepared for you.
And now we turn our attention to the 2026-27 season. We will start the season a bit differently this year, by bringing our fundraiser concert first! On Sunday, October 25, 2026 at CPAC, 4 pm, we will host TURNSTILES, the Ultimate Tribute to the Music of Billy Joel! This group is a favorite of Billy's, having them open for his Madison Square Garden performances on multiple occasions. And, on January 2, 2026, Billy "crashed" a TURNSTILES concert (they didn't know!) in Wellington, Florida, and performed two songs with them!
Tickets are $40. You won't want to miss the TURNSTILES concert.
(Maybe Billy will come to our concert!)
The Charlotte Chorale's performances will be A Yuletide Excursion on December 6 at CPAC at 4 pm, An American Triptych on February 27 at Burnt Store Presbyterian Church at 4 pm, and Waters Ripple and Flow on April 17, also at Burnt Store Presbyterian Church, 4 pm. Tickets are available -- Season tickets for $65/$25 Adult/Student, and Individual tickets for $25/$10 Adult/Student. Tickets are available for order now.
The Charlotte Chorale welcomes you to our 2026-27 Season with a carefully selected repertoire of classical, pop and modern works showcasing the Chorale's vocal abilities and passion for choral music.
Tickets are available now.

TESTIMONIALS
Charlotte Chorale is a “must-go-to” event
On Saturday, Feb. 24 we attended the concert performed by The Charlotte Chorale. It was such a pleasure to hear a truly professional group of local singers perform so well.
The choice of music was sensational, and their harmonies and abilities to sing as one, made it all the more enjoyable.
We have been attending Charlotte Chorale concerts for quite a few years, and it seems they just keep getting better and better. The direction and leadership of Dr. Dederer brings out the best in all the individual singers.
If you like excellent chorale music, then attending one of The Charlotte Chorale concerts is a must.

Last night’s Chorale concert was absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed Dr. Dederer’s "comments to the audience” along with his conducting. Frank Sanders’ musical abilities are outstanding. In reality, we sat back and enjoyed every musical moment.
Many thanks to everyone in the Chorale for this fine presentation. This was a wonderful way to start the upcoming Holiday Season!
